Sorry I had to take off early again...was feeling like crap but didn't realize why...got home and my temp was 98...started getting a pain in my lower right side around my waist that would come and go in waves but didn't think anything of it and went to bed...next morning had a temp again...called my doctor and she said it might be appendicitis (sp.?) so she refered me to the emergency room at the INOVA healthplex in Alexandria....so I went and they took my temp (101.3) and drew my blood...they thought it could be appendicitis or kidney stones

...well I then had to drink about 3 tall cups of contrast before getting pumped full of iodine while getting a CT scan...well it turns out I don't have appendicitis or kidney stones but my lymph nodes were swollen and my intestines were infected...basically I had MONO!

...but then the doctor couldn't rule out for sure the abnormalities in my scan for anything worse so I am being treated for MONO and have to see a surgen/specialist on Monday ...hope it isn't the last time I see you guys...don't worry Colin I will get your spring compressors back to you.

Thanks guys...yeah me and my bed have become one...if it wasn't for all this wonderful Initial D I haven't watched yet, I would be going crazy. Not sure when I can go back to work and when I am not contagious (sp.?)...well I will get more questions answered on Monday when I talk to the surgeon. Thanks for the good vibes

Yeah, turns out I don't have mono but I do have mesenteric lymphaticitis...laymans terms is I have inflamed lymph nodes in my stomach in the mesenteric area.

Inflamed lymph nodes is usually what you get when you have the flu or something. They always seem to check the ones in the neck under the jaw when you go in for flu like symptoms. What's the treatment?

Yeah, they gave me antibiotics and said I have to just deal with feeling like $#!T for 2 weeks...I have one pill left for tomorrow and I am feeling A LOT better today...fevers have subsided but the levaquin (antibiotics) makes me nausious, achey (sp.?), and dizzy...YEAH! And I get to go back to work tomorrow...YEAH!
