recommendations for good reference books

Post by Mr Kleen »

so my new boss said that they're putting together an order for technical supplies and wanted to know if any of us wanted anything.
anybody have recommendations for general reference manual(s) that a Windows based shop should have around if given the budget?

(I'm going to try to sneek an 8GB EeePC on the list, but I don't think that will fly  )

+1, all the books available and you don't have to buy them all :) Although if you prefer paper copies I can understand that. IBM Redbooks are also decent, I don't know if they make any for winders though.
