Sage Francis - Ottobar - Nov11. Must see. Or you will die.

Post by complacent »

After much prodding from Jas, et all I am going to start posting show announcements, presales, etc as they come to me. This is the first one.

If you love intelligent hip-hop (jehru, rza, dizzie rascal, etc) you will be absolutely blown away by Sage. Formerly of the Non-Prophets his lyrical ability is in a class of it's own. If you have a bone in your soul that likes hip-hop and rap, you will NOT be dissapointed.

tix and venue info can be found hmah.

I am either going to see him there, or in Philly the next night. Any interest???

I would be surprised if it didn't sell out. Really small venue (think bar). I used to go up there for Smiths/Morrissey Karaoke night (shutup, it was funny to watch dammit!)

:D

Damn, this one sounds good too.

Hmmmm.....methinks it may be time to consider a DCAWD live music show section of the boards? Or perhaps this is just a busy time of the year for good performances.............

A separate music section might be cool for us... This really isn't the busy season, I literally go to at least one live show a week. It's just that I started posting about it.

heh heh heh.

Fantastic...a concentrated collection of brand new ways to spend money by sucking money directly from the wallet. At least the sucking will be done in a cool way. Ummm....yeah. That's what I meant to say.

Yeah, nothing to see here...move along please.
