Yeah was reading about this yesterday on MSNBC. But I also found a interesting article for those poor unfortunate souls stuck with Cumcast on how to bypass it's torrent blocking.

Be careful saying that Will, Verizon has done bad things in the past too.

Very sucky of Comcast... Reminds me of when they were QoSing down Vonage/Skpe etc. connections :roll: :evil:

I have not yet experienced this rate limiting, however I knock on wood as we speak ;)

This might explain some of the idiocy I've been experiencing wiht downloads.... or well not downloading.. i don't do that sort of thing... at all... sorta...

But in all seriousness, I still use torrents to download my obscure cds and movies from europe that you can't really buy over here and I will get werrd glitches like being able to see there are tons of seeders.. but having a download speed of 0.1 kb/s form one seeder. I don't download much, but man comcast is being teh ghey.

What's most infuriating is there is nothing illegal about torrents themselves. You can upload legal things through these files. Granted usually it's used for piracy, but thats not the point. I'm pretty ticked at the moment
