tried to beat the system and it still gave me the "incorrect" message

ironically enough the "Case" sensitive part dooms you as you always type in caps with that program.

Did anyone else notice something flash in the lower right of the screen while going through the test?....some sort of ascii image...

Well, after my friend was raving about the "Portal" game for a couple weeks now...I finally told him to get me a copy. It is still sitting on my desk after a week...will get around to playing it eventually.

Yea, about 3/4 of the way through? Couldn't make it out, but there was something.

Tried installing portal on one machine and right after the game starts loading up, I keep getting the "Direct X 8 minimum requirement error" right after the application dies on me. I have DirectX 9 installed...hmmmmmm?

2 more machines to try it on at home. NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER!

Downloading Portal right now. Not buying the whole box...

I saw the trailer for the game and I'm psyched to play it!

HL EP2 is great, really makes me want to play EP3...

hopefully the 360 will be back online this weekend and I can give TF2 a spin. I also need to earn my cake by beating all the advanced Portal levels.

<<--on the waiting list for Portal 2

Good luck with that. I've only been able to do the first four. The one with the guns was a PITA.

Going to have to admit that I'm stuck in Portal right now... Dumbfounded over (probably) the stupidest thing ever!

What do you do after you enter that one room in Test #19 where you press a button to activate some rotating eyeball thing that shoots something and breaks glass for you...

use a portal to let the rocket launcher shoot stuff for you: windows, WCC tubes, ect...

play around, enjoy the experience without focusing on being frustrated. you'll figure it out. :D

Finally! Portal installed this AM. Put son to sleep for nap and finished w/ the rest. Birthday cake and opening eyes...did I die even though it seems I won? Curious but great game when son wasn't bugging me to play it.

Also, the UIN will constantly change characters so there is no way to memorize or write it down.

i've set up a public team fortress 2 server playing orange_x3 24/7 if anyone here (besides julian) plays.

100% Crits, Fast Respawn, All ORANGE_X3, All the time!
4.79.145.184:27015

all crits, 1 second respawns, going to add a few more things to it today/tonight such as rage quit announcements, bday mode, stat plugin, team scramble voting, etc.... oh and a few little toys designed purely with the intent of f***ing with cheaters/script kiddies.
