free ramps, will deliver

Post by schvin »

i'm moving to a different apartment soon, and don't feel like moving my unused metal ramps.

these yellow steel ramps are heavy, and sturdy. i bought them at sears for my mr2 a few years ago, but the paint has somewhat peeled and they now have some rust. if someone wants them, you are more than welcome to them. i'll even deliver or meet you half-way within a reasonable distance.

i picked up some plastic rhino ramps since my sti wouldn't clear the steel ones, and thus have no use for them anymore.

thanks, i'd prefer to not just toss them.

lol, I have the same metal ramps! I haven't tried it yet, but if you put a couple of 2x4's in front of them, we might be able to clear them :)

haha, yeah, that would work to clear them...

once i found that the plastic ones weighed like 1 lb and could handle the weight, i had no choice ;)

The plastic ones are "ok" but if i ever get springs or, coilovers there is no way to get the Sti up on them.

there are some really really low plastic ramps i've seen for that kind of application, they are called "takata" or something like that?

I've got a set of springs I need to install but I'm afraid that my ramps will be useless after I do...
