Mazdaspeed MX-5, which will predictably be packing the turbocharged 2.3-liter liter four-pot that currently resides in the Mazdaspeed3, albeit slightly detuned to efficiently package the radiator and intercooler.
the same 2.3 which also resides in the mazdaspeed6!
some mods, a tune, and the mx-5 will be able to launch into the stratosphere. hopefully.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Yes and since it should be the same engine/turbo combo as the MS3, MS6 and CX-7, it will actually be pretty sweet, as compared to the MSM. And should drop the price of the regular models too. :D

That's all well and good but will it have more room for those of us with long legs or will I still be driving with my knees?

with the same HP as the MS3, I would think the MSMX-5 would dust an RX-8. I hope they don't use that as an excuse to seriously de-tune it. or at least don't de-tune it to the point where the "lost" HP can't be found again.

I'm also a bit afraid of the price. the Touring model base is $24k, the Grand Touring is $25,300. how much is the turbo gonna add? hopefully the basis for the MS version is the Touring model. OK, maybe the Touring model + HID headlights.

sorry Chuckles, I fit so I'm diggin it.

Katie, if you hear anything keep me in the loop! :ya:
