$7k OBO; needs suspension work, fuel sender installed, new paint.
not a bad little project car if you're in the market.

yeah the line "something else was done on this date but I can't read what it says on the receipt"... never usually puts the mind to rest.

compression test was good (if he's honest) so $5500 wouldn't be a bad price. IF you're in the market. the only used car tempting me these days is a Miata or 914. but I'm all about window shopping...

Hey, how much headroom do you have in the MR2? I've always wondered whether the MR2s were bigger inside on account of them having only two seats (this is the case with the 996 for example).

haven't sat in one in years, and then only once or twice. I've never driven one.

My buddy in high school had two mr2s. He started w/ a 91 non turbo then sold it shortly for a 93 that had the jdm motor and a t3/t4 hybrid. That thing was wicked fast and the handling was great and horrible. Great up to the limit but then if the rear started its little dance it got scary fast. But yeah the interior was roomy for 2. Im 6'2 and had no problem sitting in it. I love these cars except working on them.
