WorldCarFans wrote:Finally, these shots show the new Coupe of the BMW 1-Series almost completely free of disguising. Engine options for the stylish 1-series Coupe have yet to be confirmed, but BMW officials have said they do not plan to offer a four-cylinder engine in America – although we believe they will be available in European markets. But we are expecting a version of the magnesium/aluminium 3.0-liter six-cylinder that is currently found in the 130i, as well as the 3- and 5-series, Z4 Coupe and Roadster, and X3 and X5. There is also a strong possibility the 3.0-liter turbo-charged six from the 335i coupe and sedan could find its way into an M version of the 1-series Coupe. Among driving enthusiasts, there is strong sentiment that the 3-series Coupe has grown too large and luxurious to be a true sports coupe. Many of them long for a smaller, simpler car with the driving dynamics BMW has become known for. The 1-series Coupe could possibly deliver on that desire, all the while holding its head high as a true BMW

Wheels look cheap and the way the headlights go down on the sides make it look like a down syndrom kid... but other than that, I like it!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Hmm...looks like a hacked up Volvo S40 (especially that nasty rear end) w/ a BMW front. I like the front view...that is all.
Let's see...how many series does BMW have now? 1, 3, 4 (Z4), 5, 6, 7? I wonder if they will come out w/ a .5 series to battle the MB smart cars and a 9 or 10 series to battle the RollsRoyce/Bentley/Maybach lines

Take another look at that back end - looks like whoever photo-chopped it just colored the camouflage the same as the body color. I'd guess that the trunk/tail lights would match (somewhat) the 3-series. Take another look at the last photo - there appears to be either another 1-series or a 3-series on a flat-bed tow truck just in front of the 1-series. That gives a better idea of what the tail lights might look like.

How about a Miata-sized Z2 to round out the series? A straight flush of BMWs!sirwilliam wrote: Let's see...how many series does BMW have now? 1, 3, 4 (Z4), 5, 6, 7?
