Okay so I had a bad finish to my day. I came out to my car and found the right rear tire flat. Put on the spare and went home. Of course there were three separate accidents along the way which meant an even longer than usual drive home. Got to a tire shop near me and they found that a F*%KING TOOTHPICK punctured the tire and they couldn't repair it. Best option is to get a new tire.

So I'll be rockin' the donut tomorrow. I also am in dire need of new rear brake pads. I got them today but need to install them so I'll probably head over to Springfield super early and try to install them. Assuming the local cops don't hassle me for doing car repair in the parking lot.

Anyone wanna help? :D

wow a toothpick??? that sucks!!!

I am going to try my best to be there tomorrow. I have some new mods to show off  It all depends on what time I pick up my car from the body shop. Are we going to meet in the usual parking lot and just walk over to Vinnys? I've never even heard of Vinnys haha...

Car will not make it out of the shop by today
It should be ready for pick up tomorrow though. I guess the unveiling of my car will have to wait until the next meet :x
I will still try to make it out to the meet later in my POS cobalt (rental).

Okay so let me get this straight. Not only did he post up about the meet an entire week in advance, but he also called ahead to make reservations?

Well, I'm heading to Giant to stock up on canned food and batteries. This is surely one of the signs of the apocalypse.

hahaha... the rental company puts me in a saturn whatever the hell it was... the car throws a check engine light a few days later. I go back and all they have is a cobalt. :censor: I take it, as I need to get around. I call 4 or 5 different enterprises a few days later and not one of them has a vehicle to give me except two enterprises had more cobalts :gun: :banghead: haha... dont quite understand why they are so low on cars but they are. And well... I figure I get my car back today, lets just suck it up a few more days, and well... now the cars not ready. But tomorrow it shall

Vinny's was a nice change of pace. my food was OK, but the service was excellent and the seating was almost perfect. now if we could just find a round table that seats 50...

nice to see some new faces too.

i thought the food and the service were pretty good. and it was nice to be able to carry on a conversation without the use of a megaphone. always nice to see some new faces.
