Anti-RIAA Manifesto

Post by complacent »

Via Gizmodo

An very good read for anyone who has EVER purchased any type of music in their lives.
gizmodo wrote:Piracy Lawsuits: Extortion and Privacy Invasion Under the Guise of Copyright Enforcement

The goal of the RIAA's lawsuits is to make people so afraid of being sued that they will stop downloading music. However, in their lawsuits they circumvent the law and extort money from people who haven't been given the benefit of a legal trial.

Very sad and true... BTW, the law (FAIR USE Act) that the Representatives Boucher (D-VA) and Dolittle (R-CA) introduced to update the DMCA is the first thing I have seen in awhile that gives me a little hope. FAIR USE Act Story.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
