Re: where to buy tires
Does anyone else need a set of tires? I could actually use two sets right now. I'm wondering if we could pool and get a discount...25rsfun wrote:i just picked up some new wheels, i was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as to where i can get the best deals on tires both in the DC area or online...

We got some pretty good guotes from tirevan.net last year for on-site mount and balance plus really good prices on tires if you buy from them (no shipping fee).

Good results in the past for non group use.
It would really be sweet to have a group tire day and get a deeper discount.

Patience is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears

I've used TireRack and TireVan
TireRack generally has great prices and get you the tires quickly, just be aware that you'll pay ~$80-120 for the install/balance.
TireVan gives you a installed price when you buy the tires from them. I had a RoadForce balance done and was VERY happy with the results. I would highly recommend them!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
