wasn't that in DOOM 3???

Gears looks good, I'll pick it up. I was in the Gamestop on Duke the other week and the guy was doing the hard sell on pre-ordering Gears. I said no thanks, I'd pick it up when I found it. to which he replied "we're ONLY getting in pre-orders for the first two weeks."

really? thanks for the news! now I know where NOT to look for the game, fuknut.

haha lying bastard. no store would ONLY sell to pre-order customers only. take for example when the 360 came out. many of my friends had pre-ordered them.. but... whoops. turned out apart from filling a few pre-orders ..... they pretty much just sold ona first-come-first serve basis. They dont give a rats ass who buys the game. They get money out of it and thats all that matters

(then there was the time that i pre-ordered fable...they never called me and apparently "lost" the record of the preorder and the $15 i put down on it. hooray for receipts)

haha and yes i prefer the version in that vid to the original

Lemme guess ... some of the tubes are clogged and you have to get through them by paying extra for "guaranteed" service?

^^Yeah, I loved the song when it was in "Donnie Darko".

Gotta love tears for fears.

The game looks good also.

I bought it on my way home from work today. It's 1:20 am and I can no longer play because my hands are shaking too much. Really, be afraid. Really afraid. It's a lot like the first time I played Halo 1: my wife went to bed around 11, and found me, still playing, the following morning at 9am.

"When did you get up?"
"Get up?"
"You didn't."
"What?"
"You're still up?"
"I almost know what happens!!!"

They have officially dropped the f-bomb three times now. I'm pleased.

Heh. I trained her to sit behind me and hurl grenades at the badguys whilst I rush foolhardy into them running at the cyclic rate.
