I don't know of many nealers around here that deal with other than USDM or Subaru of America approved parts. Exeter in NH and a couple of shops out in the west are dealers, and then have a side thing of importing parts.

I don't know about regular weekend meets, sorry.

Welcome to the boards boomee!

I don't know any dealers around the area that might be able to help you with the Forrester STI parts. You might try Henry at Don Beyer Subaru. He gives DCAWD guys a discount usually and can sometimes come by the occasional JDM part.

If you're looking outside of dealerships, try searching for the parts you want on Froogle :)

Most clubs around the area have meets during the week, but they all occationally have weekend ones :) Just keep your eyes peeled on the boards!

Take care,
Sabre (Julian)

Hey Boomee. I only know of two places:

www.japanparts.com
www.jdmpartstx.com (located in MD)

Still trying to source parts for my '04XT.

Oh.. suspension and brakes... www.racecompengineering.com

Myles, Kelly and the gang are #1 in performance suspension and brakes. They may be a little pricey but everything they have is worth the money.

I can certainly help you out with parts selection...I'm a Whiteline dealer, and they have a ton of Forester-specific stuff, so that's one line of products to consider.

There are a ton of great vendors in this area...there are only one or two that I can't stand, and they aren't on this board ;)

Hey, can you get the whiteline quick release kit for a rear strut bar? I really need that for my wagon.

Here is a pic that has the part #KSB790:

That way I can turn a replica STi rear strut bar into a quick release bar...which reminds me I need a replica STi rear strut bar as well

$32.65 is your cost. I'll check and see if it is available.

The entire bar (ksb586q) is $154.80

I don't know. I need something that is cheap and will fit the rear of an '04 STi.
