no. it's basically a wrx wagon with a saab front end and wheels. hence the nickname saabaru.

I always liked the Saabaru...didn't get it b/c a) overpriced and b) had the 2.0L engine...now they are making it w/ the 2.5L much better  ...but still overpriced.

so you had no idea that the 92X was originally a Subaru wagon? you need to come out of the studio for air more often.

are they still making the 92X at all? it didn't sell very well. back when GM was offering the "employee discount" promotion you could pick up a Saabaru for less than a WRX wagon.

My brother bought one last summer during the GM discounting and talked his buddy into getting one too, about $5K less than a WRX. I want to say that I heard the name may stick around, but that is it; they sold their Subaru stock earlier this year and Toyota bought some of it.

I don't think that GM selling their small share of FHI stock had much to do with it, it was the poor market performance of the 92X that killed the idea.

...and the Trolls couldn't find the ignition! (a little Saab humor there)

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
