Yep most of them used the '30. But with a Nice high rev EJ-207 like that with AVCS, it could take a bigger turbo and put it to use with that nice tranny he done got on that thang.

I've never seen "STi" meantioned so many times on a mod list.

if i had a stock STi, my mod list would look like this:

STi seats
STi wheels
STi Brakes
STi Manifold
STi turbo
STi coolant hoses
STi compression washers
STi nuts and bolts
STi Vaccum Hoses
STi interior body panels
You get the picture............

Still, that is a very nice Wagon! whoever busy that will be a very lucky grocery getter
Have turbo, will spool.

isn't it a waggon? there aren't any STi waggons in this country. everything that was listed as STi is a mod IIRC.

Your right, i just find it funny that what is stock on another car or the same chassis is considered a "mod". It's a sweet Wagon by any measure.

yeah i've wished for years they would sell STi wagons in this country.... im actually considering buying it.... its either that or the $26k STi sedan.... oh the decisions... the sedan is more stock than this and is an 04-05 model (which is what i want)... the wagon is a bugeye but i mean...its a WAGON... i duno why i like STi wagons so much... i suppouse the very irony of having a badass wagon is appealing to me... however it is in texas.... so who knows. i'll keep you posted

If you are seriously thinking about this as a purchase, your first quesiton to him would be if it has the JDM Ver7 STi ecu in it. If it does (and I don't remember anybody offering to reflahs USDM ecu units to control AVCS operation) you will not have any OBD-II port and won't be able to pass emission in MD.

One thing he did leave out of the mods list were the HOOD DAMPERS! Just ask Gabe...

The big problem with that vehicle is the OBDII port no work here.
So every 2 years you have to swap out the ECU and hope you can get to an inspection center before any cels fly, which I doubt.

I love that wagon, it has everything I'd love to have (much of which I have already), however, the JDM motor and ECU are a big problem in this area and unless your really sharp and can figure out ways around the myriad issues that come with it, I would have to let it go.[/i]
