I hate how they do a review based on just one vehicle... but, i think it stood up well.

I know, but the scientist/engineer in me says the sample space isn't big enough to make an evaluation of the entire population... its like saying that all US Presidents are idiots because W has an IQ slightly higher than a moldy potato. You get a lemon car, or a lemon president... 'one bad apple ruins the bunch'

This is saying that we should all have SpecB legacies and that it is worth it. :D

amen!!

the car is going to have minor issues here and there... it's a car after all. but relatively speaking, excluding the "fill'er up with diesel" incident, that car seems to have stood up well.

Actually, I would say that the TEIN Flex with a set of tires are a good trade for NOT getting a Spec B. Look at the data:

Total cost for the TEIN Flex w/ EDCF and Kuhmo SPTs: $2724, about $500 less than the $3200 target.

Skidpad: .87g which matched the Spec b which runs on 18" wheels and $200 a pop Bridgestone RE050 Max Performance Summer tires.

It also bested the Spec B in 70-0 breaking by 6 ft.

I'd say a regular LGT and the Flex and SPTs are the way to go.
Hell, throw on a set of 14.6 lb Kosei K1 TS for $199 each and the SPTs for $81 each and keep the stock wheels and tires for winter

they only threw out the nav cost, right?

that still leaves the issue of the tranny. 5 vs 6 speed when comparing the gt vs spec.b. or are they offering the 6-speed with the 07 gt as well?

oh, and the leather/alacantra (sp?) seats.
