I wanted to make it out Saturday, but Drive By Truckers were determined to play a 3 hour show, and you big babies didn't want to stay out past 2:30AM.

No prob! I hope he had a good time. Sorry I didn't make it out on Saturday but I went to a party out in Ashburn and halfway through the night they broke out a couple bottles of absinthe.

absinthe is legal here. sort of. you can't get the "good" stuff anymore. but that's probably a good thing if you ever need to wear glasses.

(that's a Van Gogh joke BTW)

I've had a tussle with the green faerie before. tastes like Jagger, maybe worse.

like being drunk. they don't put wormswood extract into it anymore. even the stuff in the Czech Republic. it's just a strong alcohol now.

Yeah drank like a half a bottle of that crap and no flying pink elephants. Bit of a dissapointment. At least it was 80% alcohol so I got pretty wasted.
