I'd say Zak is your best bet for someone that would know...

Re: racing fuel
AR fab, they are in winchester though. Other than that, i have no idea. Maybe TPC racing can get you some. Talk to the "racing" shops in the area, any of them should be able to get it.gsx-lex wrote:does anyone know where I can purchase racing fuel in the area?

World Wide racing Fuels down in New Canton sells pretty much everything.
I'm driving down near there tomorrow. If you let me know how much of what you want, I'll take a trip over there and bring it back.
Here is the service charge schedule.
1-5 Gal. = 1 beer
6-15 Gal. = 2 beers
16-45 Gal. = 6-pack
each 55 Gal. = 1 gallon of Shenendoah Brewery Stonyman Oatmeal Stout.

I posted this before, but I figued it was worth doing it again.
Here is a link for torco race gas concentrate:
http://www.need4speedpower.com/torco.html
I will sum-up as best I can:
Treatment Ratio with 32ozs of Accelerator
-97 Minimum Octane Race Fuel treat 20 Gallons of 93 octane minimum gasoline
-104 Minimum Octane Race Fuel treat 10 gallons of 93 octane minimum gasoline
-107 Minimum Octane Race Fuel treat 5 gallons of 93 octane minimum gasoline
-$85 for 6 cans = $14 a can
They have a WRX dyno chart from Axis Automotive's Dyno Dynamics (a fairly low reading dyno) that shows gains of 13 whp and about 16 ftlbs. just by adding 32 oz. That adds up to almost $1 per whp.

Hold on a minute, are you sure that is legal 'round these parts? You might have to take this business proposal up with the president. Oh yah, he is the president...drwrx wrote:You could always buy the 6 pack and sell the individual bottles at the meets for a little profit.

Ya, I'm sorry, you'll need vendor status to seel around these parts. Vendor status is $1000/mo if you want to sell products on our boards and $1200/mo if you're making a profit...
Yes, we're kidding... This stems from some issues we had over at NABISCO.

Yeah, would be fine if we called it a performance driving class and didn't give any accounting as to where the $xxx was going ( and then charge an undisclosed $20 extra for event entry, plus require you to have your own insurance coverage).drwrx wrote:But remember, we're not holding autocross course.
