4 way adjustable STI wagon struts springs and tophats
They are here and in my hands! I'm as excited as a little girl!
They're completely assembled, and ready to install. And yes, they're pink!
So, who's up for an install day?
I'd love some help from those with experience, but any help is welcome.
I'd like to do it either this weekend or next.

I'm not sure what's going on this weekend, but I'm probably up for it. The only thing that would stop me is if I go to Deep Creek for the weekend. Could you do them on Sunday?

I think I can make myself available either weekend, either day. I figure with four people and four sets of tools we should be able to knock it out in an hour or two without even really trying. I can supply two sets of tools.
New suspension bits!!! I bet you are just bouncing off the walls waiting to put them in
I know I would be.

I'll join in! I need to get my rear sway bar installed anyway (as well as the ProDrive axle-back but that's a snap).
Either day will work for me, just need to know where and when.
Also, I've now got a driveway, garage and nearby empty parking lot if people are willing to drive to Burtonsville.

erm... my tools are at my place in alexandria nowdrwrx wrote:We can do it where ever. I have a carport that is covered and is out of the sun. It is also not too far from where Colin will have to go pick-up his tools.

That being said, I'm easy and have no problem making the short trek to D's place. The only concern I'd have about your carport is the amount of room on either side of the vehicle... You tend to need to use a breaker bar on something (prying on a swaybar, etc) and need some space on the sides. I think your carport was roomy enough... it's been a little while since I've made an appearance.

It's not that wide, I don't think we could work on both sides at the same time. but we could easily do one sidemove the car than do the other or the front than the back.
It doesn't matter to me, however I helped a buddy of mine out with some interior work for a couple of hours about a month ago and I swear we must have lost 10lbs each out in the sun on the asphalt. I think I actually got a bit of sunstroke because I felt like crap for the rest of the day.

I think there's room under the car port, but we could use the driveway if you aren't sure. a compressor will make this job a piece of cake. I have air tools, just no compressor.
with a "team" on each side we could whip this suspension out in less than 2 hours easy. and you don't have to take your back seat apart in the wagon, right?

OK, I just want to check in with everyone and pin this thing down before the weekend is upon us:
1. Are we doing it Saturday or Sunday? (both days work for me)
2. What time is best for everyone? (saturday is totally open, sunday would have to be after 1pm)
3. Where are we doing it? (my place is an obvious choice, but that doesn't mean it has to be there)
4. Is Zak going to make it and bring his compressor? (if not, I need to make a trip to Nokesville before the weekend)
5. Does anyone need directions to my place? (if we have it there)
6. Last but not least, who can make it and when?
Thanks in advance and lunch and/or dinner is on me.

Sunday works better for me, but I'll make Saturday if it works for others better.

Depends on the day. Just pick a time, I'll be there
3. Where are we doing it? (my place is an obvious choice, but that doesn't mean it has to be there)
Your place sounds logical.
4. Is Zak going to make it and bring his compressor? (if not, I need to make a trip to Nokesville before the weekend)
I'm sure we can bring it with, but I'll let him answer that one.
5. Does anyone need directions to my place? (if we have it there)
Yep
Been there, but don't remember the finer details.
6. Last but not least, who can make it and when?

No need, I'm sure I'll need help at some point with stuff too
