DCAWD Meet Thursday 06/08/06 - HT's

Post by Sabre »

Hello all,
The next meeting of DC All Wheel Drive will be on Thursday, 06/08/06 at 7:15pm. We will be meeting outside for a little while, then going inside to grab some grub! While we are outside, please stay out of the right of ways. No standing in the road and such, just stay in between or infront of the cars :) If hoods open, only leave them open long enough to do you business.

Hard Times is located at:
6362 Springfield Plaza
Springfield, Virginia 22150
(703) 913-5600

Link of map: here

Most up to date information found in our forum here.

Let me know if you are coming so that we can try to keep an accurate count.

PLEASE keep things reasonable coming into the parking lot. Take care all and I hope to see you there!

Note: This is an AWD, we meet no matter what Mother Nature throws at us! Even if you do not have a AWD car, feel free to come!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Hoping to make it (sans familia) which would allow time for a chili bubba and eliminate the need for a separate table... 8)

In + Stephanie....prolly with the wagon. Also going to try to bring someone from work and get him to drive down. He's got a Cobb Stage 1 WRX and has been thinking of coming out for a bit.

Looking forward to seeing everyone! Now....if anyone could provide me with a more efficient way of getting to Springfield from Reston other than 495 to 95 I'd be forever in your debt. :drive:

Couldn't you take the parkway all the way down?

Yea, it can really slow down in spots, but compared to loosing half an hour between the toll booths and getting on to the outer loop, for me overall its been 10-15% faster.
