the Mercedes-Benz S600 has a twin turbo, air to water intercooled, 32 valve, 5.5 liter V12 that puts out 510 Hp and 612 lb-ft. it can do 0-60 in 4.2 and it costs $143,675.
but the best part of the article was this:

Here's something else that'll amuse and panic your passengers: Set the distronic Plus proximity cruise control for 120 mph while following, say, a dawdling Ford F-150, then lift your foot completely off the gas. Later, when you pull out to pass, the S600 will automatically proceed to a buck-twenty all on it's own, as if possessed by the ghost of Rene Dreyfus, and no red lights or Klaxons or legal warnings will so much as suggest themselves.

haha, that is pretty funny. Cruise on the STI won't set above 90.... not that I would know from experience.

Same on the WRX. Cruise won't set above 89 mph... - er, Hi officer! Lovely day we're having, isn't it?
