Impreza Gets Top Crash Test Marks from IIHS

Post by WRXWagon2112 »

From Car & Driver online.
The Kia Sedona and Subaru Impreza received top safety marks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Detroit News reported.

The institute's president, Adrian Lund, called the Sedona the "best minivan we've tested."

The Sedona, with six standard air bags and other safety features, saw its sales increase by 47 percent this year, selling 17,111 through March 31, the story said.

Gee, go figure that a car built to survive rally would be good in crash tests! I just wish more people saw the value and performance of these little boxes and stopped looking that it doesn't have a:

Yeah but most Americans are all about "The Bigger the Better" or more specifically "The More Expensive the Better". People think that if something costs a lot of money it must good. So they go to the dealer and get the largest most expensive piece of garbage the salesman can soak them for then get mad when thing handles like a boat and gets about 15 feet to the gallon. Which could also explain why it takes 30 bucks to gas up my Celica.
