Ya, what a shame. I REALLY hope that they don't change anything. Alienwares were always expensive (as are Voodoo's), but for the average consumer, it was the only way to get a "gaming machine".

who cares? alienware was always too overpriced anyway. voodoo and falcon are still out there for the gaming enthusiast who a: has a bottomless wallet and b: doesn't know how to build their own gaming rig.

Alienware....who gives a crap about alienware?

If you were seriously into gaming you were buying your own and installing software you got from a buddy anyway. I mean really when was the last time anyone here paid for an OS or any application software. If its shareware I will sometimes paypal the guy a few bucks if I think its a good effort. But as for the big houses...screw em.
