New Tires... Cooper Zeon RS3-A

New tires have arrived!

I have chosen to go with Cooper Zeon RS3-A in a 225/50/16 on RS Six Spoke wheels

After rebates the total cost was only $257 shipped. I hope to get more then 20,000 miles I got with the General Gmax AS03s. I hope the wider size and non-directional design helps.

Cornering is effortless
Tons of grip

Sadly, I think I liked the dark silver/gun metal better than the black.

I was digging it too, but the previous owner did a horrible paint job and wear the weights were on the outside lip there was no piant. I may hit them with some Dupli-Color Custom Wrap Matte Graphite

Can't say enough about theses tires. They handle awesome in all conditions.

I have been plowing through the backstreets the past few days. I got hung up once but was still able to get out.

Sadly, they don't look like good RallyX tires, otherwise I'd be all over them!

How's the Cooper Zeons now? We are looking at Cooper, Michelin or Toyo tires on the next change. Seen mixed reviews but mostly positive with Cooper and Michelin, and I personally like the Open Country AT II on our truck.
