So Dan guessed right in the other thread. Here are some shots of my new project, its a 93 mr2 turbo with a fresh jdm rebuild with a few bolt ons and suspension bits. These pics are from the PO and Ill get some fresh ones added soon.

compared to the old STI, she aint that quick. Probably around 220 whp pushing around 2700 lbs, she corners very well as long as you stay on the throttle. I'm taking my time learning how to drive it as it handles very strangely compared to the old ride.
I had a buddy who had one of these back in the day (early-mid 90s). He did a ton of work to it. Not a fun car to work on, but it was a great ride.
They handle quite well, feel really sharp, but the steering gets a bit vague at high speeds. Breaking and turning are also a bit scary.
Enjoy, it looks like it's in great shape.
Hmm, I could see right where a water injection setup could be added.
Then you could use cheap gas. Because of course you are just looking to get maximum efficiency out of it, right?
Patience is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears
The car is in pretty good shape, paint has a few flaws but is a pretty good 10 footer. It has a JDM CT20b turbo, 3 inch downpipe, some type of catback, and a Spearco sidemount intercooler. Driving this car reminds me just how far turbo technology has come in the last 2 decades. It's a bit laggy to say the least. The only real issue that im going to need to deal with is it appears to have a worn 5th gear syncro. I'm looking around for places to either rebuild or get an imported jdm one. The car is a blast to drive and I'm looking around for a tuning solution for it as well. AEM standalone is too pricey for this project, and I've seen some folks running Hydra Nemesis and Megasquirt has a plug and play setup.
Dan, the key is getting a good tune. Currently the car will fly past the stock boost settings and hit fuel cut if im not careful. So I think a boost controller and fuel cut defender will work in the short term, i will need to figure out a tuning solution eventually. I'm still looking for a good place to rebuild the transmission as well... I like the wheels too but they may be a tad too big for my taste.
Thanks guys, though its been stuck in the garage for about a month. It died on me and I havent been able to get it started. I systematically going through the ignition system as I'm not getting spark. I found an MR2 guru to come help me out this weekend. Hopefully get her up and running to come out to a meet.

She lives!!! She apparently jump 9 teeth on the timing belt, so my bud helped me with it and she is running great. Gonna try to make it to the next meet.
I have to say, the number of engines that say they are non-interference and have had valve to piston contact is amazing... VERY happy to hear yours wasn't one of those!
