Hey all,
Looks like, for some reason, they want Alvin and I to teach the RallyX school again We'll be going for rides through the instruction with the students in their cars to show them these techniques.

Basics review:
RallyX classes
Hand-positioning
Reading the surface
Judging distance to objects
Braking: ABS, threshold braking
Correct “Rally Lines”
Understeer/Oversteer – How to induce/recover
Handbrake Turns – Enter hairpin

Advanced:
Correct Lines for various situations
Left foot braking
Lift-off oversteer
Powerslide
Scandanavian Flick
Recovery from bad situations
Going for a ride with an experienced rallycrosser

Reading the surface - These are the tires that grip the dirt that grip the road that...you're sliding off of... Heck yeah!

Braking: ABS, threshold braking - mash brake...you slide! no mash brake...no slide!

I followed an E30 eastbound on the Dulles Greenway Saturday afternoon. It was lifted and had SCCA Rally on the rear window and was DIRTY.
