Back when I had my 286 with a 20MB (no not GB, MB) hard drive, I had a series of .bat scripts set up that would extract a game from a .zip file, run the game, then delete the extracted files when the game was exited. Three lines of code for each game. Java couldn't do it for less than 10, or less than 1000 if you wanted one of those new fangled GOOY's.
