Anybody know of a local company or service that can referb UPS battery units for an APC Symetra LX (SYBT5)?
We have 14 battery modules that are 10+ years old. 140 12v sealed lead acid batteries that we have at this point found we need to pay someone who is going to take them to the dump. If someone could make use of them and referb to make straight profit over batter replacement cost, all the power to 'em.
Dead battery modules might not be of any use, but you think local hackerspace clubs could make use of the casing/wiring/switches?
APC batteries, lots of 'em.
