last minute GTFO get together

Hey everyone,

I know this is very last minute, but hey - it is what it is.

I'm skipping town for about a month this Sunday (due to work) and I wanted to see if any of you would be interested in getting together on Friday night.

The plan is to meet at Mackey's sometime after 8 (as in no earlier than 8, no later than 8:30).

It's a nice, quiet pub right in Crystal City. Easily accessed from metro/car/foot/etc.

Nothing big, just hanging out and shooting the mess. Hope to see some of you there.

There are garages on either side of the street. If you metro there you can walk through the crystal underground and stay nice and warm. I've only eaten there once, but I've seen plenty of people head there for lunch, I'm sure the food is at least at "pub fare" standards.

I (me and Jamie) might be able to come. Don't know how long we could stay though. We're doing the Walk for the Homeless downtown tomorrow and check-in is at 7:30. Apparently the homeless don't sleep-in on saturdays.

No worries either way man! If you two can make it out, great! If not, we'll just meet up when I get back.

Like I said, I wasn't planning on this being any kind of production.

Huh. I used to live upstairs from them. I'm not sure I can make it. Sandy and I have RSO training down at Quantico at 0830 tomorrow morning. Kinda puts the kibosh on staying out late at all. On the other hand, she's off at eight, so we might be able to swing by for a few minutes to see you off.

If we don't manage to, dude, have a safe trip.

Thanks man! Like I said, this is very last minute. We've all been so busy with moving and such that the idea of a G2G was madness until after we got our ish under control.

Have fun down in quantico! And we'll definitely get together after I get back stateside.

IF I can acclimate to the thirteen hour time difference, and only IF - then yea, I'll go see hatebreed.

I've always wanted to see "conceived in an act of violence" live. It's heart warming good wholesome fun for the whole family.

Thanks J, staying safe (and warm) are my two biggest thoughts.
