well for twice the price you could get their front mount kit (i did)

gyea. sukkas.

Seriously, for the price, either would be just fine. It's awful hard to mess up a core that simple.

Yeah, just go w/ a front mount if you plan on upgrading...otherwise the Stock STi TMIC is good enough. I have only heard bad things from people who have bought the EBAY brand TMICs.

The dimensions of mine is 20" x 8" x 4.5" = 720 cubic inches

Which is exactly the same as the xoxo:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-04-05 ... QQtcZphoto

and the ssautochrome:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbo-XS ... 7510QQrdZ1

or just go to ssautochrome's site (it's at the bottom): http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1437

I'm sure they will match the e-bay price. Their front-mount is 900 c.u. and is a steal at $700.

There is also this one for $200:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subaru-I ... 8487QQrdZ1

I would recomend the xoxo or the ssautochrome since, supposedly, both have solved their fitment issues (the one mine has) the other is an unknown.

The only difficulty with the install is that it really does require two people. Trust me, I've taken off the AVO TMIC so many times I've lost count, and I would rather do that one 10 times than this one once! Although I have learned a few tricks that make the job go a bit easier.

I just didn't want to do a FMIC. I wanted to maintain the wagon "stealth" factor as well as my foglights. I also didn't want to cut up my front bumper. And the IC sprayer really helps against heatsoak, when it works.

I cannot recommend you stay VERY FAR AWAY from XOXO enough. I've had two dealings with them. My first order they sent the wrong part the first time and the second time they sent the wrong part twice in a row. They were also hard to get a hold of and arrogent when I did.

This was 2 years ago though, so maybe they have changed... maybe....
