Very coolIf you want to give your bike that personal touch, but don't want to spend hours fabricating at the shop, then the V-Trek is your kind of ride. Designed by Terrence Teo, the V-Trek features a modular design that allows for easy customization.
This bike is more than just personalization though. In its heart sits a proton exchange membrane fuel cell, or PEM. Hydrogen from its fuel canisters are combined with oxygen to produce electricity, which powers the machine up to 50 mph for one hour. The byproduct of this reaction? Good old H20.

Mebbeh I reads the article wrong, but they are using metal hydride hydrogen storage? I thought the weight of those things was prohibitive for vehicles. Plus, recharging those things is a bitch, can't be done at home.
I'm glad they have a compressed cyl option.
Neat concept. If I were in for a toy, this would be fun. But for two wheel transport zero emissions, I'll take a Brammo

so...the bike has to "take a leak" every so often?
zero emission bikes frighten me. too quiet.
*car makes left across traffic*
*thud* *thump, thump*
*car driver looks around confused*
*car carries on*
