11 pounds... wow. But, playing a little Battlefield 2, on a 3.8Ghz, at 30k feet would be fun... for the whole 15 minutes that the battery would last. :)

Julian, you wouldn't be able to plug that computer in to an outlet upstairs. You would blow the circuit!

lol, good point ;) I need to start looking at ripping the drywall up so that we can run the wires. The fans for up there came in over the weekend :)

but if you're in the market for a gaming rig, you should invest in a powerful desktop. you get so much more for so much less. gaming laptops are awesome, but the added beef cuts down on their portability which kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop, and yeah they get hotter than the sun.
