Tell you what dude, you hop on the metro and come out to West Falls Church Metro station and I'll be happy to give you a ride. I just passionately hate driving in DC (fucking stop lights on the corners of intersections). Private message me your phone number.
Unless there's some one closer willing to give you a ride.

I won't know until friday night...
My friend is stopping by from NY on friday night.
He's supposed to go on to savannah for the weekend, but if he decides to stay in DC (for his sister's get-together on Saturday night), then us two would go.
Otherwise I've got crap to do on Saturday, and I'm not willing to ditch it just for my lonesome sake.

I'm picking up Jason in Tysons, you're more than welcome to jump in my box of bolts. Just be aware, I'm camping up there Saturday night, so you won't be getting home till Sunday.... and it's a LONG walk home to Tysons

Camping at Summit:
You can pretty much camp anywhere
There are no grills, so we need to bring our own or go out to eat (It's cheap enough since we're in WV, haha)
There are bathrooms and showers in the paddock
Admission to camping is included with your entrance fee

How long are we going to be karting? This just doesn't seem like that long of an event or that far of a drive to warrant an overnight stay.

Only two sessions. I might just buy the "Kart to you puke" package though I'm going to stay around to check out the bike races and the Sunday Rally-X stuff.Raven wrote:How long are we going to be karting? Re: Karting @ Summit Point - 9/18
2 karting seasons and a membership for $40. This is $10 off and any additional sessions will be at the membership rate. I'm trying to get the $25 spectator fee waived...
If you plan on camping I'd show up at 11 to get a spot squared away before karting.
More news as it develops...

Tell the person at the gate that you're here for a karting event and sign the waver. You shouldn't have to pay the spectator fee.

Ok, brentcombsphoto is riding with me. If anyone else in the Tysons area wants to car pool in my car you're more than welcome, my car is large. I still have 2 seats in the back that are open. We might hang out for a while, but definitely won't be staying the night.
