TIME: Every Monday at sundown
LOCATION: Vornado/Charles E. Smith
Take Out: There are many great restaurants in Crystal City where you can pick up food before Crystal Screen. Crystal Screen is a great place to have a picnic. You can find many great places to eat in the restaurant section of our website.
You can also enjoy tacos on site with District Taco. Experience the tacos Crystal City workers have been raving about since spring started.
Festival Rules: Patrons can bring their own picnics as long as they abide by city and festival rules. Low-backed chairs and blankets are allowed, but grills, umbrellas, and pets are prohibited.
I might not make tonights, but I plan on making every one after this!

FYI, it's supposed to rain tonight... Starting around 7 IIRC.
I may very well catch a few of these as well... Hell, I can walk there from work.

I've been meaning to check these out the last few years, but never been able to find the time. I'm not much of a Star Trek fan, so I will most likely skip it this year too. On a side note, the building behind the screen is the one I work in. Every Monday when I leave, I see them setting everything up.

Ok, I'm still headed out there tonight
I'll probably be there around 7:30.
I hear there are a good few places to grab something to eat, so I'll probably just do that.

There's a
ton of places on Crystal Drive, including Ted's!
There's also a great selection of places at the intersection of 23rd St and Rt 1.

Is there anywhere to park around there or is it worth the effort to just metro it?

I know this is after the fact, but after 5 pm and on the weekends, the public garages are free.

Yep, parked in the garage this time. Thanks again for the directions Adam!
BTW, last night was a lot of fun. Some interesting people watching too. Next time I'm bringing some supplies... It reminded me of Wolf Trap with the way some people pulled up coolers and such

Jason and I are headed out tonight to see Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Looks like we're aiming to get there around 7 or so to setup shop. Last time we were on the left about a 1/3'rd of the way back... we'll probably aim for the same spot
