Well, I grabbed this for my dad last year for his 2000 maxima b/c the headlights were yellowed and hazy (limiting the light output which becomes a safety concern).
I found it the other day when I was searching for something else and thought why not use it since I bought it and I have to drive this car while my other one is in the shop.
Pretty simple, just time consuming...took me ~2hrs with a corded drill. It comes with attachment, pads, and buffing liquid compound but you will still need the following: drill, microfiber cloth, spray bottle filled with water, and 3m painters tape to tape off the painted body panels around the lens so that you don't nick it with the rotating drill attachment. I also HIGHLY recommend wearing a good mask so that the tiny sanded particles don't set up camp in your lungs. Eye protecting is probably a good idea, too, but I was wearing my glasses and that was good enough for me.
I took my time and thank God for that little sapling that grew fairly big to shade me from mr. sun. It doesn't look quite brand new but it is pretty good...definitely night and day difference while being well worth the $15 I spent on it.
Here is a link to where I got it on amazon: LINKY
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a before picture so I can't post that for you but his headlights looked a LOT worse than the "before" picture on the image of the product above.

Re: 3M Headlight Lens Restoration Kit
Darrin has been talking about using tooth paste on headlights that need it for some time. I might give that a try first and then go to this after if that doesn't work Thanks for post up!
