Housemate has an AirPort that used to work fine with wireless. Now it seizes up when connecting MacBook Pro's and PCs via 802.11. Wired out of the Airport works fine, but wireless is hamstrung.
I R not Apple
Any ideas to get me back on the wireless net?

I had enough trouble getting my MAC to connect to a "real" AP. NO WAY I'm buying an airport.
but I will buy you a beer for making a joke in response to a request for help.

Funny, I've had nothing but good experiences with them.
My first question would be what model airport are you using? Then what version of the firmware are you using? What version of the Airport utility are you using and on what platform (win/mac)?
How many bands are in use (a/b/g/n)?
How many networks? (dual band?)
Is this device creating or extending a network?
What authentication methods (wep, wpa1/2, etc) are in use?
Is interface robustness turned on?
There are a fair amount of options that can muck things up. PM me if you need some help.
