STPR - 6/4/2010 to 6/5/2010 - Wellsboro, PA

Drifting into the "D" zone...
STPR is Round 5 of the 2010 Rally America National Rally Championship. It is the longest continuously running motorsports event in Pennsylvania. It includes the Sherwood Forest Rally and Finger Lakes Rally, both Eastern Region divisional events.
Team[VZ] will once again be helping to run the Susquehannock Trails Pro Rally. There is usually a short 80 mile dirt TSD-style rally. For those of you that have never been to the STPR, this is definitely one of my favorite events to run/help/spectate. Most of the reason behind that is the community really comes together to support the rally event. I remember my first STPR, i was flying over a crest, full tuck, sideways, when I noticed a family sitting on their front porch, watching my shenanigans. But instead of reaching for the largest rock they could find, they instead, began to cheer us on!
For those of you that are looking to get comfortable with dirt/gravel and haven't had a chance to in the past, the 80 mile charity rally is a great opportunity for that. For those of you that are fairly comfortable driving spiritedly on dirt roads, i suggest volunteering to course marshall some of the stages. We have a good working relationship with the organizers of the event (which are from the FLR region), read as: getting to run the same pro rally stages as block/pastrami/picard. PM for details.
I'll post the link for the charity rally when it's made available.
