Can a stage-II GT-R keep pace with an FIA GT car?

This, to me, is as exciting as the Top Gear FQ-400 versus Murchialago competition. David versus Goliath (in performance terms, the FIA GT car is Goliath).
"There's no need to overtake him. We just want to know; can he shake me off?"

Second video suggests they know each other and knew they'd be going head-head. Same run group, same warmth in their tires and brakes.

F430 GT
4.0L V8
470 bhp? (FIA GT2 limit)
2425 lbs
A racecar.
Forged GT-R
3.8L TT V6
CobbAP, intake/exhaust
Coilovers, springs, sways, track rotors + pads.
Toyo R888s or Hoosier A6s
Aeromotions active rear wing (getting great reviews right now).
3600 lbs
Streetable!
Improvements since 2009 (including active wing) allowed Sharif recently set a new Time Trial Unlimited record at Carolina Motorsports Park by a stonking 3 seconds!
So already one 1st place in 2010.
