I have two confessions:
- the whine of the blown vette motor is super hot.
- that car exudes "american muscle." i like it.
A very niche product, but it sure is pretty.
<--- still would take the vet every day and twice on sunday though.

Dyno queen? Sounded like he said 12-flat!
Hennessey must give good blowjobs or something, because I can't figure out why his media exposure is so high for someone that essentially duct-tapes cars together for maximum hp numbers until the esplode.

Cobb/Surgeline is currently busy doing a Cobb Tuning Parts rebuild of the Hennessey GT-R after the owner encountered issues (and a complete lack of customer service from Hennessey). Have a look at some of the Hennessey build quality pics on p1. Not for the weak-stomached petrolhead.

I love the sound of a supercharger. The Lightening was like music to my ears
That's a shame that Hennessey let that car go out the door like that. Even if it was a prototype, there is no excuse for not doing it properly.

I would imagine this particular Camaro is done up the same way. This is the media tester, and does a great dyno run. But can't take off the line without smoking clutch like it has a note from its doctor.

Wow...I had no idea. I shall forever never post another Hennessey car again. Not cool, Hennessey.

It gets worse if you read the comments from some of the former Viper owners.
Hennessey is banned on essentially all forums that he tries to post on as a Supplier for whatever car he claims to tune.
It is a remarkable business formula. If I were to copy it, all I would do is make some sensational claims about my ability to tune cars to magazines, get TONS of press parading around my sustantial 'abilities.'
People would buy my kits based off of my brand recognition. Even though I would be giving everything on your car the 'angle grinder treatment' creating loose fitting parts and ruining all flanges so that nothing can be returned to stock.
Amazing that he's gone this long without ending up in jail, let alone bankruptcy. Seriously.

Sounded worse than it looked. (I was expecting something to be broken)
intake maf + pipe... albeit ugly, looks like it should function just fine.
The intake boot (if the flow is wide -> narrow ) is pretty lame. DIY pep boys kind of stuff. Nothing I'd charge money for. I'm sure they charged plenty.

Except it didn't function fine...
That's why it has been taken to a reliable shop that stands behind their product.

Need to figure out how to shoe horn it under the stock hood. I likes me a sleeper.
