Who says you can't race on pit lane exit? The chevy driver gets his in the end though, and then some. I love the on-board showing how dark it actually was.

Damn, I'm torn.... ya, that was stupid with pit lane, but the Corvette had to give up his lead because of it. The Vette tapped him again, but what the Porsche did at the end was pure shit. Then again, the vette could have hit the brakes and accelerated on his right... as I said, I'm torn!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

so using a paved portion of the racetrack is illegal but ramming another car into the wall is OK? I'm not an avid GT2 follower but it sure seems like the officials like Porsche or that driver.

edit: OK, after reading some of the commentary that Zak linked to I'm a bit calmer. it seems both drivers were given 2 race suspensions for next season. not sure I entirely agree with the Porsche getting the "victory" but the Corvette did bump him on that last turn, leading to an escalation of aggressive driving.

I think I'm going to have to start watching GT2 next season. and get a "Team Corvette" t-shirt.

Can't say I agree with you. The Corvette did TWO stupid and aggressive things to try and win. While the actions of the Porsche are not "okay", they are more than understandable. With the recklessness of the Corvette, he got what he deserved.

Exciting racing, though. I, too, will have to check out GT2 next season...

When they first struck in turn two, it was difficult for me to determine who was really at fault. However, when the Corvette flat out rammed the Porsche in turn eleven, my jaw dropped. Can't saw I feel bad for the Corvette driver. It was shitty all around though.

But the whole time I was watching, I was all like :dropgob:

There is always some great racing in ALMS. Its sad to see some of the teams pulling out, but it is still some of the best road racing in the US.

The bump by the 'Vette into the last turn was racing, the Porche running him to the wall was malicious.

the way the Corvette came off the wall the Porsche had to be pushing on the rear fender. that means the Corvette was past him. if the Corvette's bump would have spun out the Porsche I wouldn't have been happy giving the Corvette the victory, and I doubt the officials would have either...
