Good to hear we're going to be seeing good stuff for awhile from the system!
Speaking of life spans:
I really think that the PS4 could just be a PS3 with double the cell processors and a new rendering chip. They built the architecture to be scalable. That reduces R&D costs and they next time around the game developers would already know exactly how to program the system.

I supported IBM-branded desktops in county govt, they've already had their pound of flesh (and blood and cursing) from me

The man does have a point though... That shart runs HOT! Between my Amp, TV and the PS3, my family room stays toasty!
