Jean Todt named as new FIA President

Former WRC co-driver and team manager Jean Todt has today been elected as the new President of motorsport’s governing body, the FIA, succeeding the federation’s current head Max Mosley.

Yeah.. I wasn't too thrilled with some of the decrees comin' down from ol' Max there. Hopefully this guy is better. I must admit I was almost hoping his opponent Ari Vatanen would win... a Finnish WRC champion driver just sounds like a good guy to be in charge of the FIA.. but I guess time will tell if the Frenchman has got the right stuff...
I mean,
how can he be any worse than Max?
