Thanks for the lesson fella's... You should have seen this coming... If you expect 1 million people and prepare for it, but get 3 million, then you have three times the funds available to you than you thought you would. Use them wisely and don't pocket all of it! (P.S. the iPhone as been out for awhile, even a bloated company like your's has had time to fix it).

they shouldn't have to "hear" us to act. reactive thinking. not smart.

they spent money keeping the iPhone exclusive, not providing a robust network for the iPhone. but at least they passed the increased costs on to the customers.

Agreed... Every network engineer I know uses a tool to monitor link status (HP Openview, MRTG, whatever). Bandwidth doesn't just appear out of no where, it grows... they knew about it a long time ago!
