have you played with one of these? much cooler than i expected. charges devices just by swapping out the back plate setting it down.
it is a bit annoying to make the devices a bit bigger with the swapped out backs for charging, it isn't bad. the blackberry backplate is simple and only adds 3/8" or so. the iphone one does not work for me since i have the v1 iphone, but the little apple dongle works fine, and charges nicely.
it's cooler than i thought it would be. i'm not sure if i have cancer yet or not.

Do you now have three balls or an extra hand? Sorry, couldn't help it
Looks cool, but I too have a v1 iJebus Phone, so it wouldn't work with too many of my gadgets

yeah, their iphone charger does not work with mine, but their generic apple one (not as sexy) does. so, i'm ok with it.
i'll keep you posted on the three ball front. i has a scared.

I see the coolness but not the practicality. Especially when they only have cases for three products in existence, of which, even a power user will only have two.

there is no justifiable reason for buying this. "because it looks cool" isn't gonna cut it in this particular case.
if we can no longer find the willpower to plug a device into a wall outlet/usb charger, the terrorists win.

indeed... though it does come with a grip of connectors for various phone manufacturers, etc., but those are not as slick as the cases (except the iphone case which is lame).
it is pretty handy for conference rooms/meetings/visitor areas, etc., though. i guess i should have caveated that, before joking about putting it in the car, ha.

If it became an OEM type equipment amongst device manufacturers, I'd prolly be okay with it.
I wouldn't really purchase it on my own though.

I think standards are great. Everyone should have one.

I wholeheartedly agree! Very scary. We are REALLY trying to kill ourselves faster, aren't we?
