a couple friends from work are trying to start up a regular, friendly poker game. they're talking something like a $20 buy in, getting together maybe every other week or so. I'm not much of a poker player myself but I said I'd pass the word.

Nah, my experience is there is no such thing as a 'friendly' poker game and I always end up paying more in than I get out.
