Subaru Forester Truck...Truckster?

Post by sirwilliam »

Saw someone had posted this in another forum. Guy is selling this one off custom jobby in PA via craigslist: LINKY

I think maybe this guy wanted an updated brat but it was before the new baja came out.

From what I've heard Subaru actually made trucks as fleet vehicles in some markets as recently as 5 years ago (no, sorry, can't find any intarwebs proof of this, so :grain of salt:). They had a truck and a van in Japan in the 60's.

that's pretty spiffy, but why go through all the trouble? that couldn't have been TOO long before the bajas started rolling off the line. guess he couldn't wait.

i miss my baja :(

I'm impressed with how well they finished off the cabin area. Looks nice.

But an auto? sad panda is sad.

a little ingenuity, used subaru business, and cheap labor can go a long way.
i'd rather buy a baja than "chop" a fozzy.
