Looks like Apple has closed the door on hacks that enable tethering in this release -- at least for AT&T according to early reports.

looks like i'll be sticking with 3.0. just jailbroke it (finally) for the first time since 2.2. i'm in <3 all over again.

iPhone OS 3.1 b2 (no moar tethering)
