Well, I have a Jorge tune setup for July 11th at IAG.
Help me make up my mind. I now have 3 options:
-use my COBB SF intake and get a SPT heatshield for it (maybe better for not ingesting water when going through a deep patch?)
-give my APS CAI one more shot (but repaint it black first)
-trade my APS CAI for a Prodrive CAI?

When it comes to short RAMs they all produce very similar numbers (even when tuned).
CAIs make better power, but come with a multitude of other issues.
If your looking for the most power you can get out of your set-up go with the CAI.
If maximum power isn't your aim then go with any short RAM you like.
One last thought: Is the APS MAF housing size the same as the stock?
If not, I would absolutely stay clear as they are notoriously hard to calibrate.

Yeah, we sort of had this conversation but now it is mainly between the APS and Prodrive. Both are the best and easiest to tune with. I think I may just give the APS one more shot easiest and cheapest route. Then just sell the cobb since it is still BNIB.

Well, if I can get my APS repainted black this week (picked up some black high temp paint yesterday), I will use it. If not, I will just throw in the COBB intake.

Well, I repainted the intake black...the night before the dyno It turned out pretty well...had to get to the location early to install it on site. Had the car jacked up w/ the stock jack and removed the front passenger wheel and wheel lining. I will get pics later. Compression test was good to go but pressure test on the intake side found to small pesky boost leaks but were rectified w/ worm drive clamps. Also got one step colder plugs and Perrin EBCS installed...along w/ a quick oil change w/ 5 quarts of Motul since I accidentally only brought a 4 quart jug of Mobil 1 Now I am right at 300/300 again
