I need a good and trusted open source software for encrypted file transfers.

Let me know. Thanks.

Oh, and let it be super user friendly. The people that will be using it are morons (and, yes, not me...I know someone will say something if I left that open).

Platform?

Bandwidth/Latency requirements?

Approximate file sizes? Are we talking ISOs or .doc files?

Just email them a password protected zip file... That'll do it. :rolllaugh:

For those that still might wonder about this stuff, gpg/winpt is great if you don't want to have to pay an arm and a leg!

truecrypt is fine for volumes, but that approach may not be the most user-friendly...

if it is more transit encryption, they could use dropbox (free up to 2gb). it is not encrypted at rest though, just in transit....
